Today on the blog tour we have Helen Murray, a fellow member of the Association of Christian Writers. Her blog is called Are we nearly there yet? Helen writes about life and faith. Like me she contributes to the More Than Writers’ blog – she posts there on the 23rd of each month.
On her blog today you’ll find a bit about my book plus an extract from a chapter called ‘Propelled by Hope’. As Sunday is traditionally the day Christians celebrate the resurrection, it seemed appropriate to choose an extract from the chapter that deals with that subject – one of the biggest motivators of the Christian life.

On a completely unrelated aside, watch out for fruit flies. My husband cooked a lovely lunch today; we left the window open to air the kitchen and came back to do the washing up… and the kitchen was full of flies – yuk. He dashed out to get some fly paper (which thus far has caught nothing but my hair) while I discovered that the best way to deal with them was to vacuum them up using the vacuum hose as they settled on ceilings, walls, cupboards… They do not seem to survive a Dyson sucking them up with great efficiency.
I have just about recovered from the experience!
Putting my feet up now…
